Mild TBI?

That's called a headache.
They’re called concussions.

Totally normal

The Iowa Attorney General’s Office is no longer seeking the commitment of a former Midwest Christian Services student convicted of myriad sex crimes because the individual now identifies as a woman.

Court records show the state dismissed the application on Jan. 9. Attorney general spokesman Lynn Hicks wouldn’t comment on the reason for the dismissal other than to say “an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.”
Smith has expressed a preference to identify as Josie, according to court documents.

“We don’t believe we have evidence sufficient to prove Josie Smith has a significant chance of reoffending,” Hicks said late last week.
A preliminary report prepared by the state’s expert, Dr. Jeffrey Davis, says Smith molested as many as 15 victims, ranging from ages 1 to 13, before being sentenced to prison in December 2015.
This reminds me of the M2F tranny convicted rapist that got transferred to a women's prison and proceeded to rape multiple female inmates. But if you have a problem with stuff like this, you are a "TERF", apparently.

I feel like I’m very much in favor of LGBTQ rights and equal standing, but I cannot fathom that Iowa decision.

That is literally the distinction between legal and illegal.

Also, Fusion GPS - the actual provider of the information - is/was a US entity. So unless we want to go down the path of recognizing that every single Made-In-China MAGA hat meets that same standard of foreign-nstionals-did-the-labor, then we need to recognize this as the nothingburger that it is

First off, which is illegal? Don’t believe either was.

Second, why should we condone any type of foreign influence in our elections, whether it was “purchased” or not?

Third, what a bad analogy.

Alexander wrote a long Twitter thread first saying the House proved Trump’s Ukraine actions, but saying it isn’t impeachable, and then saying “if” what he did was true it doesn’t matter and voters should decide his fate.

At the end of the day, witnesses just delay the inevitable. Alexander is a "swing" voter and he's already got his mind made up to acquit. The only thing that might happen is we'd get more details from people under oath, but even then it's not going to change anything. Let Trump have his victory lap that he's been salivating over since this whole thing started and move on. Hopefully this makes him at least somewhat aware that he needs to at least follow the law, but I doubt it.

Steele dossier was just a glorified campaign bumper sticker. What a take.

Yeah, that's why I thought the witnesses argument was just a red herring. Bolton wasn't going to say anything that wasn't already obvious to anyone that has paid the slightest attention to this saga.

It will be telling to see how the main "impartial" news folks react to the acquittal. I imagine the gist of it will be, "both sides" something. The discussion should be entirely as to whether this Ukraine pressure campaign is an impeachable offense. There should just an absolute acceptance of the facts. When these jagoffs go on MTP, they should just be pressed on their opinion for why it's not impeachable.

More evidence that the dupes are in charge. It's rather amazing that the Steele Dossier is somehow a good story for Trump and republicans shows that these folks are no better than your average consumer of fox news.

You really need to step back from the ledge. All you do is insult republicans for being shills and being duped by the media. You have zero self awareness when it comes to using this argument to attack others.

The greater point is that Republican Congressmen long ago hitched their fate to Trump's. So removal was always going to be a non-starter. The only thing that witnesses could do is hurt the President in the general election, so of course they won't be called. It wouldn't matter if Bolton did a Parnas style media blitz, the result will be the same the arguments will just shift.

First it was he didn't do it.
Then it's he did it for anti-corruption.
Then it's not illegal when the President does it.

I generally laugh at the notion that the country has never had more political animosity, but if not would Nixon had stayed through his term if the economy hadn't collapsed? Because he'd made it to the last excuse, and nobody bought it then.
