Prominent Democratic donor Ed Buck was arrested on suspicion of running a "drug den" after a man allegedly suffered a methamphetamine overdose at his Los Angeles home last week, authorities say.

Buck, 65, faces felony charges of battery causing serious injury, administering methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office said in a statement Wednesday.

The 37-year-old man injected with methamphetamine survived the Sept. 11 incident, prosecutors say. However, at least two other men have been found dead in Buck's home from overdoses in recent years.

"With this new evidence, I authorized the filing of criminal charges against Ed Buck," Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey said in a statement.

I have never once looked into Yang's background until now... do I have this right? He has dipped his toe into: celebrity-affiliated philanthropic fundraising, healthcare, education/test prep, economic advising/teaching, and entrepreneurial work including teaching others how to be entrepreneurs and providing resources for them to succeed. And the dude is only 44...

Regardless of how well he does in this election, he's an impressive individual imo.

This dude has a ridiculously checkered past, with the overdoses in his home. It's apparent from the history that he is having black men over to his home to have sex, getting them under the influence of drugs, and essentially killing them. I'm assuming he has survived this long due to his connections in the Los Angeles area Democratic Party. Looks like the LAPD finally realized they can't ignore it any longer.
