All of my derivative suits have been in the context of small corporations, and the suits were basically being brought by shareholders/directors who hated each other's guts and wanted the each other out of the company.

Imagine the stakeholder’s dismay when the company exists for a primary reason other than to maximize profit and the stakeholders finds xerself out of a job.

So the Libertarian wing of 5AF is arguing for full-on gilded-age unregulated capitalism?

That will end well...

Trump is a monster.

That has to be in the running for one of the best headlines about a president ever.

Another US solder died in Afghanistan this week.

Why are we still there?

I'm 100% shocked you're on here being a dbag toward another one of my posts. /s. Thought Columbia had that schtick trademarked.

I'm willing to have you explain things to me tho so I understand. Keeping in mind how little I care beyond a message board comment and an eye roll over another person who nobody ever heard of becoming yet another casualty to the cancel mob.

I'm also 100% shocked that you seem to cheer this stuff on because you come off as such a pleasant person who doesnt have a stick up his ass at all in real life. Much like the same people who make up said outrage mobs.

Wait til these people get ahold of Eddie Murphy clips before he hosts in December
I had a long post about Eddie Murphy in the stand-up comedy thread, but never posted it. A shorter version of it goes like this: I noticed his famous Delerious comedy special is on Netflix. I remember watching it years ago and loving it, so I watched it again (or tried to). He starts off with a routine about how he doesn't want faggots looking at his ass during his show, and so he is constantly turning on stage to keep the "**** section" from focusing on it. He then went into how he has nightmares that Mr. T was a **** etc. The audience loved it. I turned it off.

He ended up apologizing for it before a series of shows in San Francisco in the mid-1990s, right around the time he was doing family friendly films and then eventually Shrek.

I am a huge Eddie Murphy fan. But he's gonna get some very delayed heat on this stuff come December...

I feel like that's a problem though. At the time, it was socially acceptable and shouldn't be crucified for it now. At most, people need to recognize that things and people change, but constantly putting people up on the firing squad for things that were fine before, has got to be tiring.

All reasonable people know this is dumb. Times change, people change too...is it great that he was using that word on stage in the 90's? Probably not. Was I using it while playing hockey in the 90's? Yeah, all the time. Everyone was. Hell, Bill Burr was using it on his podcast up until a handful of years ago...society changed and he stopped using it, so have I, so has Eddie Murphy...I don't know what people hope to get out of chasing these 20 and 30 year old instances of "bad word" usage...get a job.

I was under the impression the SNL guy got fired for racial slurs, not gay slurs.

Or are we talking two different things here?

Looks like there were additional videos with him calling people ***gots.

Seems like a stupid story all around. I would think SNL would be aware of his schtick before hiring him. So they should have just stood by him, I mean, twitter would have moved on to something else in like 8 hours.
