She doesn't hold as high of an office as Trump so it's all cool. I'm sure those standards will be applied across the board going forward.

So, do we want to hold each party accountable for all member's opinions, no matter how influential they are? Is that where we're going with this?

Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. I'll apply that standard across the board.

My school is a few blocks from her district. I've shopped in her Wal-Mart. ;)

I would obviously never go into a Wal-Mart. But I am using this line to describe when one of my friends falls on a grenade for one of us...

The produce is not good. It's not even a Wal-Mart Supercenter, it's just a Wal-Mart. Sad!

Continually using Jewish tropes isn’t anti-Zionism.

No one on this board had the opportunity to vote for Rashida Tlaib or Ilhan Omar. Everyone on this board had the chance to vote for Cheeto. Some of of you did so, and some of you are pondering doing it again. That says more about you than it does about him.

The federal government will rack up $12.2 trillion in deficits through 2029, according to a new projection from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), an $809 billion increase from its last projection in May.

Is the purchase of Denmark accounted for in that projection?

Yes. Some of you clearly believe you are morally superior to others because they vote a different way than you.

voting for trump could mean a lot of things.

-pathological response to vote R
-wanting R cabinet appointees
-wanting R SCOTUS "nominations"
-single issue voting on matters like guns/immigration
-genuinely liking the trump experience
-triggering libs
-big fan of racism

i'm sure there are more. and if we had a democratic populist buffoon running the country, you'd see the same adoption of those first 6 motives (or the equivalent), regardless of the degree of buffoonery.

and as appealing as it might seem to hold contempt over people who hoist trump up, it's unfortunately a perfectly reasonable way to vote. particularly with the cabinet and SCOTUS considerations. we aren't voting for/against his tweets. we're all trying to get as many people from our "team" in the mix as possible because of how the federal government has been mutated. i get it. and this is why the "deplorables" thing was such a stupid blunder. politics-wise, most people are just riding the same wave their whole life without thinking. it's not fair to attack the character of passives like this.

ODENSE, Denmark — The astonishment in Denmark over President Trump’s apparent desire to buy Greenland turned to bewilderment and anger on Wednesday after the American leader abruptly scrapped a state visit because the Danes have no desire to sell.

The cancellation was a rare snub of Denmark’s head of state, Queen Margrethe II, who had extended the invitation to the president and would have hosted him and the first lady.

News that Mr. Trump had called off his visit “came as a surprise,” the Royal House’s communications director told the state broadcaster, adding, “That’s all we have to say about that.”

Others, however, had more to say. “Is this some sort of joke?” Helle Thorning-Schmidt, a former prime minister, wrote on Twitter. “Deeply insulting to the people of Greenland and Denmark.”

I don’t believe I’ve watched Fox News in more than 5 years. What did they say during your daily watching of them?
