Re 9/11 bill

A spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell didn’t respond to a request for comment on whether McConnell would support the bill coming to the floor.

The White House also didn’t respond to comment when asked if President Trump would sign it.

I imagine they want to add some measures to the bill that allows them to frame it that the democrats are choosing immigrants over first responders.

It's more than tenuous, I don't think the existing proposed bills can be passed through reconciliation.

There could well be legitimate reasons why half that committee was absent for that hearing.

One of the members of the committee did comment afterwards why there was such a small number of members there. The chamber was set up for the full committee (41 people), but this hearing was just for the sub committee: 14 people. Of those 14 people, 6 were missing. 3 democrats and 4 republicans.

I find conspiracy theories interesting on so many levels, but more on the human side of the believers.

My wife has gotten into reiki recently and befriended the coach she was having sessions with. One time after hanging out with this woman, my wife came home and asked me what "Q" is, obviously this reiki person believes all this stuff. Explaining the Q theory to your politically disengaged wife is a blast.

I know a woman who is a highly educated professional, and her son has numerous degrees in chemistry, and both believe 100% that Flight 93 was trying to take out some building in Johnstown, PA where DEA info was housed. And I'm talking, they believe it like they believe water is wet.

The general public has allowed it to go this far already. They've controlled the narrative this entire time with ease pretty much.

What boggles my mind is that there are people who can't believe he won't cry foul and try and stay if he loses. He's pretty much been allowed to escalate this.
