I felt it was too conspiracy towards the end there. I felt he defended himself nicely, honestly.

There are legit reasons to doubt Kavanaugh and question some things but at least maybe have some compassion on a guy who's life has been destroyed.
HIs life has been destroyed? Seriously? This is not a trial, and he’s not going to jail. This is just a job interview. Maybe he’ll get the job, maybe he won’t. But this by no means will destroy his life.
You think this just goes away next week?

Source of the post This is just a job interview
remember the completely normal job interview you had when you yelled and broke down crying and accused people of crazy theories. Regardless of accusations, I'm not so sure this is the guy for the job

Any job interview involve you being being called a rapist in front of the entire country? Some of you are beyond reasoning. If he had come out being meek, you'd say you want someone tougher for the court. Do you think no one knows the game that gets played??

Whoa this lady is asking the questions again?
The Republicans have each yielded their time to her. Would be weird for them to have a sex crimes lawyer come in and interview Ford and not him. So Ford got softballs from the Dems and BK gets Mitchell and the Dems.

This is the SC dude, not your standard job interview.

The WH should have done a better job vetting him. I understand he went through a prior confirmation process, but the times have changed, and they should have done a better job understanding his High School and College lifestyle.

Corey Booker ranting and raving and screaming a few weeks ago was perfectly fine. This is too much for some tho. Okay.

Are you joking? This man has been accused of being a rapist. How do you think that would affect your life? Your job? Your family?
Lacking proof, the effect will be nil. Worst case scenario is he doesn’t get the job. He’s definitely not going to lose his present job over this, and his charmed life will continue to be charmed. Contrast this with Dr. Ford, who has already been the subject of death threats and has had to go into hiding.

The FBI interviews people from your college and high school days. This has been told in here ad nauseam.

listen, I haven't followed this much since actually watching it today. I don't know details of anything that happened besides what I saw today. My opinions expressed are from the last 6 hours. To me she came across as credible and he is coming across as a crazy person. I can't imagine having to deal with the accusations one way or another so forgive me if my opinions don't align with how someone accused should. that is all.

I'm not that interested to listen to the broadcast, but an interesting comparison:

As Ford was speaking, the likelihood of BK confirmation had been steadily declining from 60% to about 40% (shortly after she was done).
As BK is speaking, the likelihood of BK confirmation has pretty much a flat trend (50% at start, 50% now)

"I’ll do whatever the committee wants," says Kavanaugh, asked by @SenFeinstein why he isn't calling for the FBI to investigate the allegations against him. "My family’s been destroyed by this, Senator." "Destroyed," he repeats. "I’m all in immediately," he says angrily.
