Congrats to Melania's parents for becoming US Citizens via the "chain migration" process that Trump hates because Stephen Miller told him it's bad.

Boris Johnson is being roundly criticized for calling Muslim women in burkas 'letterboxes'. I thought it was pretty funny.

In fact, I agree with Rowan Atkinson: 'All jokes about religion cause offence, so it's pointless apologising for them. You should really only apologise for a bad joke. On that basis, no apology is required.'

Good for him. I'm tired of people having to apologize for everything.

I've just seen a Burka wearing Muslim lady with her kids being abused outside the medical centre, youths were shoving envelopes in her face, and her kids were crying. Police had to be called. This is your doing #BorisJohnson and Rowan Atkinson thinks what you said is funny.

So in case anyone was wondering on what level of unethical Kris Kobach is operating on. As SOS in Kansas and running for Governor, he is instructing counties to not count ballots that should be counted legally.

Reminder that he vice-chaired Trump's voter fraud commission.

Democrats, please do not distance yourselves from Nancy Pelosi. She is a wonderful person whose ideas & policies may be bad, but who should definitely be given a 4th chance. She is trying very hard & has every right to take down the Democrat Party if she has veered too far left!

Same reason John Kerry's was/is.
Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is docking his family’s new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island, allowing him to avoid paying roughly $500,000 in taxes to the cash-strapped Bay State.

Tax purposes.

This is one of those "stuff all rich people do that is bad when Republicans do it" stories.

I think it's bad when anyone person does it and thought the article was an interesting explanation of the tax dodges, as well as the way the rich get out of standard US employment laws as well, but... okay...

I always thought wealth inequality was about the 1% being constantly thrown help and gifts from lawmakers while the rest of us can just f*cking drown because we can't buy our way out of mistakes.
If that's actually the case, "wealth inequality" is a right shitty term for it then.
There is no part of anything we can't turn to bullshit, why should the name and substance of this problem be different?
Calling it "wealth inequality", within that paradigm, makes the rhetorical inference that the problem is the accumulation and holding of wealth by the upper class, and not the access to political power.

Airport worker steals plan, crashes, dies.
Later, a controller discusses getting a pilot on the radio to help the man control the aircraft.
"Nah, I mean, I don't need that much help. I've played some video games before," the man responds.
Also, there was this exchange:
"Congratulations," an air traffic controller says, "you did that, now let's try to land that airplane safely and not hurt anybody on the ground."

I swear to God some people are convinced that if person A did something sh!tty than that means it's ok for person B to do it.

How about this. I wish I spoke up more about this bull **** before this administration. I wish I was more informed back then. I wish I tried to do something to change it then. I'm sorry.

Am I allowed to criticize this administration now?
