Policy wise. I think he'd be a complete disaster for the finances of the country...as if they already aren't that way.

Most people are just caught up in the hype, the memes, etc. Don't underestimate the hype power of websites like Reddit--Bernie Sanders is almost a sexual figure there. Not sure how may of those neckbeards are actually voting in primaries, but I digress.

Correct, and I think most sane liberals know that. He's essentially just throwing out a ton of freebies with no real plan to pay for them other than "GO AFTER THE BANKS" and raising taxes on just about everyone from middle class on up.

I'm bothered by the number of 40+ I know, who are feeling the Bern. If you have it (the Bern) that bad, just go on vacation to Switzerland.
Murica. Love it or leave it.

The revolution WILL come. I'd rather it be political.

I think something will eventually happen, but not for the reasons you think. I'm just honestly curious what people think this brave new world is going to look like.

I see Sanders as the D equivalent to Trump. Both would be terrible Presidents if (and that's a huge if, especially for Sanders since congress will likely stay R) they could get their agendas passed. Both are capitalizing on the disenfranchised and playing on the paranoia in their own parties.

I don't agree with all of Sanders' specific policies, but I feel like he's the only major party candidate who is genuinely concerned with addressing economic inequality and the increasingly oligarchic nature of our government. I actually kind of wish he'd de-emphasize some of the standard far-left voter bait (e.g., free college and universal healthcare) and just focus on that central message.

He isn't saying that as far-left voter bait. That is exactly what he believes.

Considering the political leanings of who owns the bulk of the guns in this country (and where they own them), I doubt the post-revolution U.S. would be a progressive socialist paradise.

What's your 2nd Ammendment remedy for a tank?

I'm sure Sanders is genuine in wanting free college and universal healthcare, but from my impressions following his campaign for the past 7-8 months, these issues haven't become front-and-center until relatively recently, i.e., the time when you actually have to entice people to get out to the polls.

Tanks are fairly easy to take out with primitive weapons and obstacles.

A bunch of goat herders and rice farmers held their own against the U.S. and Soviet militarizes for a reason.

Think Death Star and X-Wings.

Not really.

Red Dawn is not very realistic.
