Well, Russia claims that they got all 4 of them. They then tortured them until they confessed. Now historically torture isn't the most reliable way to get a confession but hopefully in this case they got the right guys.I'm honestly surprised they got all (?) 4 of them alive and this quickly, especially given that it took us like 4 days to catch the Boston Marathon bombers.

I had something to this effect typed out, but felt like it was verging on tinfoil hat stuff.
That said, hard to really argue against that point.
No, no. Reddit caught the Boston bomber within an hour or so. Of course, it was the wrong person but still...Bombing suspects are a different breed in terms of their catchability. There's usually no outward indication of their involvement (as direct action on their part is often not required by the nature of the thing), they aren't waving a weapon around and shouting slogans and whatnot, they aren't required to be on-scene for minutes on end. And the time commitment to actually perpetrate the act is only seconds, so if you don't actually observe them placing the device in those scant seconds you'll probably never catch them. I think that's how they caught the Boston guys, a victim saw one of the brothers placing a backpack on the ground and that guided the way they scanned CCTV footage. And even at that, it took them a couple days to PID the bad guys and get the word out, and their ultimate takedown was fueled by their perpetration of a carjacking and police shooting completely unrelated to the bombing. Frankly, it's sort of amazing that they caught the Boston guys at all, let alone in only three days.
All too convenient most of the time. I think Putin is involved in all of homeland attacks in some way, or knows about them in advance like this one so he can use it to keep Ukraine morale where he needs it.Putin probably hired them to do this, so they were easy to find.
