I’ve been in there a few times. It always seemed good not great. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop there, let alone for a photo op if I was running for US Senate.

We've been hearing for well over a year that the Reps are the party of insurrectionists who represent a deadly threat to democracy and a vote for even a single Republican is a vote for fascism. Now the message seems to be turning to, "Well of course the GOP is going to win both the House and Senate." There are that many pro-fascist voters in this country?

By your own argument, a bunch of unknowing Germans voted for fascism.

So yeah... not really all that surprising.

Why would they vote for fascism? What is their motivation? Could it be that the Democrats should have been focusing on the wrong things?

You’d be delusional to not bet on the GOP winning back the house and senate. History repeats itself.
Too bad RBG didn't have this level of awareness.

I give an outside chance of the Dems maintaining senate control. 25% maybe.

We'll see in a week or next month.

I see a giant fcking sign every day driving my daughter to school. And every day I grit my teeth at the stupidity and inherent infantile nature of it.

It's a big reason why I'm voting blue down the ballot tomorrow. The party I loved is infested with lunatics and the true believers. Most Republican voters are not Q types. I know that. But a lot are. A couple are close to me. It just sucks.

I'm sticking with my bizarre theory that the polling is a little off because of people who are sensibly afraid of violence and anxious about voting, who probably skew Democrat.

@Shyster and supreme court junkies on the board - what would we expect from the justices in the ruling on this case? I have no barometer.

“Focusing on the wrong things”

I agree that the integrity of our institutions is a losing message (who’s voting for the irs and the fbi right?), but unfortunately we don’t have any capable “media” to explain to people why voting for the fascist party is bad.

My hope is that the polls are correctly picking up the apathy from traditional democratic voters (young and minority) but not picking up the shift in normal people.
