I don’t follow Rand Paul’s nonsense much… I’m wondering how outspoken he was when books were getting banned or desantis decided to punish Disney? Legitimately, did he say anything at all about that freedom of speech or has he only said something when it was convenient for himself? I’m pretty sure I know the answer, just figured I’d check with the Rand fans here.

How many aircraft w international range does Trump/Trump Org own? The flagship 757 was down for a refit some time ago, but I don't know if it has returned to flight status yet.
How, or maybe why is the correct word, the **** do you know this?

How many aircraft w international range does Trump/Trump Org own? The flagship 757 was down for a refit some time ago, but I don't know if it has returned to flight status yet.

From what I understand, not quite yet, although it did just get out of the paint shop:

It had supposedly also needed engine work, but it had been parked in NY with an engine removed, and the paint shop is in Louisiana, so I would assume the engines were done first because it obviously flew there.

As I understood it the engine replacement was needed because when they were ferrying it from NY to LA the crew had to declare an engine-related in-flight emergency and divert to Kentucky or something like that and they were laid up there for a while. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but I wasn't sure if it ever actually made it to the refit in LA or what happened after that.

I mean pretty much, yeah.

Stuff like that interests me, I follow it like regular news. Same with Shyster and NTP and a couple others.

A buddy of mine works for a company in the UK who specializes in high-end private aircraft. They have a bunch of military contracts that generally keep the lights on, but the really money comes from retrofitting Arab oil oligarch's private jets to make different places to hide booze. (My friend's expertise is avionics fwiw)

It did make it to LA and has been repainted. Not sure whether the repaint was before the other checks it will need, or after. If the paint was before, and I would assume it's going to need a full D check after being parked for so long, then I would expect it to be there at least a couple more months.

IMO, 757s are sweet, but if I were building a business jet out of a used Boeing, I'd either go with a 767-200 with the CF-6 engines or downsize to a 737. There aren't that many Rolls RB211 engines out there and that engine was pretty specific to the 757. There are way more CF-6s, and the CF6-80C2 was used on something like a dozen other aircraft in addition to the 767 (including the 747-400, A300, A310, and MD-11), so there should be way more parts and space engines available. Or downsize to a 737 and add an extra belly tank for range. No shortage of spare parts for those, and CFM has produced literally thousands of CFM56 engines.

The google machine says Wenger's Grocery Outlet is in Mifflinburg, Union County, PA. I assume he was in the area on a campaign stop. Also, the owner of Wenger's posted this back in 2020, so Oz shopping there and posting about it would be a dog whistle to the anti-mask folks. I note there's a Weis Markets a quarter mile down the road.

That has always been one of my worries, allowing people to drag this out until that happens. This is why anytime I read a headline that says somebody disobeyed a subpoena, I want them in cuffs the next day and dragged in kicking and screaming.

Saw one in Warrendale and that's about it. Fun house with Trump 2024, Trump Won!, Mastriano, and Oz signs. The single digit IQ and hate for minorities is palpable.

See a lot more Mastriano signs though, which is much more disturbing.

Centre county is liberal city in State College, Trump country in the surrounding areas. Lots of Mastriano signs, zero Oz signs.

Same for when I visited Bedford County. Fetterman will win in a land slide. I think Mastriano will get closer, but still lose to Shapiro.
