Man, I was so confused...I was like, "MTG turned on Trump...via merch...?"
Once I clicked on the tweet (unfortunately), I then realized it's just their run of the mill asshattery...

These people so badly want to be seen as persecuted. That's their entire mission, to make themselves feel like they're doing something just and significant, when they're basically nothing. No more important than the next person who DOESN'T wear any of that stuff.

Something about criminals and mob bosses pleading the 5th. Somewhere.

It's also rumored that an informer is working with the feds at MAL and told them exactly where the boxes of documentation were, lol.

Not clicking that link and providing a hit, but I assume the purpose of that clothing is irony, correct?

I know it's a cliche to say that someone "doesn't know the meaning of the word..." but, man...I legitimately wonder here...

I assume it's in the same territory as liberal folks wearing "Nasty Woman" t-shirts in 2016.

My 9yo son loves his flag merch, and while I personally cringe at why the blue line flags suddenly became popular, I don't stand in his way of picking one out to support his cousin and Uncle. It's tough being a parent sometimes.I'm in favor of any sort of clothing that lets me know who to avoid. Whether that be red baseball hats, Ed Hardy t-shirts, thin blue line anything, or Enemy of the State. Thanks, MTG.

Yes that's what I mean by irony. As in ironically leaning into a label I guess

If this is a reference to the very entertaining 1998 film, I am all for it.Trying to wrap my head around how the "Patriots" are enemies of the state but here we are

I think it's a play on the Blink 182 album.

People are organizing "drop box watch parties" to catch "ballot mules" and illegal voters:
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/10/tech ... heory.htmlOne night last month, on the recommendation of a man known online as Captain K, a small group gathered in an Arizona parking lot and waited in folding chairs, hoping to catch the people they believed were trying to destroy American democracy by submitting fake early voting ballots.
Captain K — which is what Seth Keshel, a former U.S. Army intelligence officer who espouses voting fraud conspiracy theories, calls himself — had set the plan in motion. In July, as states like Arizona were preparing for their primary elections, he posted a proposal on the messaging app Telegram: “All-night patriot tailgate parties for EVERY DROP BOX IN AMERICA.” The post received more than 70,000 views.
Similar calls were galvanizing people in at least nine other states, signaling the latest outgrowth from rampant election fraud conspiracy theories coursing through the Republican Party.

Enjoy, idiots.

Is that not illegal?
Politics And Current Events
It should be, but because Manchin and Sinema sat on their hands and refused to vote for federal election rules, I'm pretty sure states like AZ, TX, GA, and FL are either allowing this or turning a blind eye to it.
Politics And Current Events
No idea but can you imagine them confronting someone dropping off a ballot demanding to see their ID?
