I'm a little curious as to what brand of safe and how long it took the agents to get in. Did the FBI bring a locksmith? Are there agents trained as locksmiths? Or did they just bring some angle grinders and hack the sides open?

Wouldn’t this be a very common practice for raids? I would think they have a locksmith or people on staff trained.

Whatever they may or may not do, you proceed with your case. If it means throwing him in jail? Do it. What are his supporters going to do, try and start a civil war? We all know that won’t fly in 2022.

Interesting. This could be a (relatively) easy way to get rid of Trump's future political ambitions. 18 U.S.C. § 2071 makes it a felony to willfully and unlawfully remove, mutilate, or destroy any record "filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States." While there is a potential three-year jail term, the more interesting penalty is that § 2071(b) says that any custodian who "willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys" any public documents "shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States."

I love these delusional troglodytes who are so upset at Trump getting raided yet who almost instinctively yell “lock her up!!” or “Hunter Biden!!” whenever Trump’s alleged crimes are referenced. It’s such a stroke of great irony that the FBI didn’t do dick during his tenure to Hillary but are now going after him

but the Trumpers will refuse to see the humor and will unfortunately become more radical. sadly, at some point we’re gonna hit boiling. afraid of what that might look like
