We reject this socialist idea of low cost insulin.

I don't think they should get much credit or blame when it comes to gas prices

On the second page of google, I found this:

Soooooo...basically, no real reason. Which is good, I was worried that they were changing their course from being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian...Republican senators blocked a provision that would cap the monthly price of insulin at $35 on grounds that it does not conform with the Senate's budget reconciliation rules.
The proposed addition to the Inflation Reduction Act did not meet the 60-vote threshold necessary after the Senate parliamentarian determined that it did not conform with budget rules that would allow a simple majority for it to pass. Seven Republicans voted with all 50 Democrats after Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), the ranking member on the budget committee, raised a point of order against the provision.
The Republicans who voted in favor were Sens. Susan Collins (ME), Josh Hawley (AR), Cindy Hyde-Smith (MS), John Kennedy (LA), Bill Cassidy (LA), Lisa Murkowski (AK), and Dan Sullivan (AK). The rule does not affect the $35 insulin co-pay for patients on Medicare and only strips the cap for patients on private insurance.
This is the only GOP success so far as the Senate considers dozens of proposals to add to or alter the IRA in a vote-a-rama series that allows senators to propose as many amendments as they wish to the legislation.

No, actually the democrats voted to raise drug prices.
No, actually the democrats voted to raise drug prices.
Democrats who passed the Schumer-Manchin bill on Sunday voted to raise drug costs and health premiums for 220 million privately insured Americans. That isn’t hyperbole. It’s the inevitable economic result of Medicare drug price controls after the Senate parliamentarian this weekend struck the bill’s inflation rebates.

Such a weird story... like, of course Trump would try to flush things. Of course he would lie about such things. What does it matter?

So, who writes in sharpie? I think that's my major takeaway - is that if you're trying to be discreet, why would you write in a sharpie, and if you're just living day to day live...why would you use a sharpie?

The permanence and boldness of a sharpie is a sign of power and command, unlike wimpy fine point ink pens for do nothing democrats and the fake news media
