I hope it ends up like OJ. Everytime he tries to do anything with money they drag him into court and take it.

For these people, I don't think it was ever about having a financial windfall.

They have the contents of his phone with 2 years of data that his lawyers accidentally handed over to the prosecution.
I hope they aggressively pursue collecting the damages.
I saw a story today saying he was making $800K a day at some point in recent years yet crying about how he had been canceled.

He made $800k on A day in 2018. Not per day.
Still, buy his own admission he was raking in $200k per day through his supplements and crazy people whatnots, and that's disgusting enough. His personal income was close to $20 million over the couple years covered by the documents presented at trial.

I read maybe 30-40 news or commentary sites every day, plus Facebook and Twitter. It came up as a potential superspreader event for monkeypox. Given that it happened about a week ago, and that's roughly the incubation period for the 'pox, we should see in the next few days if there was in fact any spike from that event.How exactly did you happen upon such an event?

I don't really understand this angle. Has the pro-choice movement ever demanded there be "no restrictions"?
Some of the most passionate abortions supporters have made such demands, just as the most passionate on the anti-abortion side demand complete bans with no exceptions.

we’re gonna start requiring sources soon
I’m willing to bet there’s substantial more in the “no abortion after conception” crowd than the “all abortion until birth” one

I’d like to see exactly the numbers on no exceptions for abortion vs no restrictions on abortions. I don’t think the two will come close.I don't really understand this angle. Has the pro-choice movement ever demanded there be "no restrictions"?

I found this
”third trimester” isn’t necessarily “up until birth” but no abortion ever (top right) is at 16% and “legal in all cases in third trimester” looks to be half of that (about 8%)

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that. I didn't say the numbers on both sides were equal. But there are numbers on both sides.
Kansas I believe shows that the American populace wants a middle ground, not an extreme. And that would appear to be in line with global sentiment. For example, most countries in Europe and elsewhere regulate abortion along the lines of the Missouri law that was actually at question in Dobbs—namely, a 15-week limit. Only three countries in Europe (Netherlands at 24 weeks, Sweden at 18 weeks and the UK at 24 weeks) have abortion laws that allow abortion in request (i.e., without a medical reason) later than 15 weeks, and 12 weeks looks to be the most common cutoff. Yet the pro-choice movement in this country opposed the Missouri law tooth and nail even though it is in line with the laws of most peer nations.
I think US law will eventually settle on the same ranges that are in Europe—around 15 weeks. But that's going to take some extreme swings and some rounds of political parties (especially the Republicans) getting smacked down at the polls before everything reaches an equilibrium.

Ok, I'll shut up as I haven't been following this.He made $800k on A day in 2018. Not per day.
That being said, Texas caps damages to 750K per plaintiff so they won't see much. Yay Texas.

The GOP Student Loan Plan is, uh, a plan.
I feel like the goal for them is to halt Biden from making his impending announcement because "see, the legislature is doing something!" when 'something' is useless and untenable.
An actual solution is somewhere in the middle. I am sure they will work it out.
It seems to be all repackaged items we already have, elimination of current programs, and codifying that no actual forgiveness can take place now or moving forward.-existing student loan borrowers enrolled in an income-driven repayment plan would only have to pay their original student loan balance plus 10 years of student loan interest;
-end the student loan payment pause;
-end the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program for new student loan borrowers;
-no wide-scale student loan forgiveness of any amount;
-create a new, single income-driven repayment plan similar to Income-Based Repayment (IBR) to replace existing income-driven repayment plans;
-eliminate student loan forgiveness through income-driven repayment plans;
-end Grad PLUS student loans, which would limit how much graduate student loan borrowers could borrow;
-end capitalization of student loan interest, which is the addition of accrued student loan interest to your student loan balance;
-help student loan borrowers in student loan default to rehabilitate their student loans for a second time; and
-prevent the U.S. Department of Education from using the negotiated rulemaking process to issue regulations that are economically significant (such as more than $100 million), including wide-scale student loan forgiveness.

The whole Trump thing is going to become a bigger problem if this keeps up.

It could change but I'm less concerned about Trump now. He's further isolating himself and his followers.

That writer couldn't come up with better examples of "frightening fascism" than Afghanistan and inner city crime?
