1. Don't have sex with strangers, especially if you are a man who has sex with other men. I mean, you can keep having sex; you just might want to limit yourself for in the near term to having sex with a smaller number of people you know and not have random anonymous sex with strangers in bathhouses, in fetish clubs, at circuit parties, or wherever.

2. Don't go grinding all up on other strangers, such as at raves or foam parties or whatever, especially if those locations are heavily frequented by men to have sex with other men.

Follow those two suggestions and the changes of catching monkeypox (at least at this juncture) are close to nil.

This is what you get when you let teachers teach about gay stuff

Not sure about these cases, but the first two pediatric cases were both cases of household transmission where the children in question lived with and shared spaces with men who have sex with men who caught monkeypox while having sex with other men and then passed that on to the children.

If we add in, "Don't hang out with or share towels, bedding, or other items with men who won't stop having lots of sex with random other men," then the chances of catching monkeypox would be even lower.
