What do you think people are going to be mad about?

That he's telling the truth, that Democrats are largely ineffective and continually hold themselves back because they're too **** stupid to realize the bipartisan ship has sailed and continually let the GOP drag them right?

We know already... you're (still) the only person ITT who cares about "teams"...

Big surprise. The bright-eyed, bushy-tailed dems don't like the elders of the party and think they're moving too slow. News at 11.

I'm looking forward to the millennials ascending to power.

I think Biden is gonna get hit with the RVW thing - unrightfully so. They had 60 years to do something. But it doesn't matter who gets the blame for that.

He should be tied to what CBear3 said.
Well of those 60 years, he was in the Senate for almost 40 of them. He probably could have fought for it there at some point during that time.

Yes, because the answer when the laws are ineffective in stopping the undesired outcomes, is to eliminate all the laws. Actually, we should fix the laws because they are feckless and there are too many guns.

Yes, more laws will totally work. Just like all of the thousands of anti-drug drug laws passed at the local, state, and federal level completely eliminated illegal drugs and now no one ever, ever does drugs, gets addicted to drugs, or dies of drug overdoses.

Or maybe by saying "fix the laws" you mean pass a law banning guns. I'm sure that would work. Just like banning the production, transport and sale of alcoholic beverages in 1919 completely eliminated intoxicating beverages from the United States and meant that no one ever again took a drink. It certainly did not result in massive defiance, an explosion of organized crime, and a flourishing black market, no sir.

Almost everything they've tried to put through has been stopped in the Senate because Joe Manchin and Kristyn Sinema hold the party hostage. If they had those two votes, the discussion would be very different imo, especially with BBB.

Political terrorism by the state GOP, withholding funds unless Pitt and all other partially state-funded schools (the "semi-private" schools) stop stem cell research from fetal tissue.

Pitt's considering going private due to this. The GOP is too **** stupid to realize how much that is going to affect cost to students.

It’s four years old at this point, but we watched Reversing Roe on Netflix last night and thought it was excellent. Covered the Republican efforts against Roe since the initial ruling by the party identifying it as an emotional issue that could sway voters, aligning the party with religious movements to gain support, Reagan and HW Bush moving from pro-choice to pro-life under party pressure, Republican creation of late-term abortion lies to further drum up anti-abortion, and therefore Republican, support. It’s been a long con for nothing more than political power.

Did they talk about direct mail king and ghoulish looking Richard Vigurie?

Repealing Roe has been a part of the political DNA of the Republican Party for my entire lifetime, because the most motivated voters (and donors) have fixated on this goal. Now that they've got it...... what comes next? They're very much into the 'awesome, wow' phase of this, and could find themselves like the proverbial dog chasing the car that wouldn't know what to do if it ever actually caught it. There seems to be a bit of a concerted effort to now pitch efforts at homosexuals and the whole LGBTQ+ populace, and 'wokeism' in general, but I'm not sure that has quite the emotional pull, despite being cut from the same sinner's cloth.

Still a war going on in Ukraine. The Russians shot a couple of missiles into a shopping mall.

On that Trump plate throwing incident, she said there was catsup dripping down the wall. He must have been having steak for dinner.
