Ex-SEAL. There seems to be an inordinate percentage of those guys who end up in public life in a bad way, particularly of the GWOT generation. I've seen some articles postulate that the lax oversight they receive as a command contributes to a "our s**t don't stink" mentality that they carry with them into civilian life.

The country of Texas is having rolling blackouts, it’s citizens are freezing, roasting, or losing their lives due to lack of water. They are demanding the United States help them but won’t allow any non-WASP people in the country. President Julia Hernandez has reached out to President Cruz multiple times only to be told he’s out of the country and wouldn’t talk to her kind anyway. Illegal Texas immigrants are being halted at the border begging for asylum. This is a humanitarian crisis the world has not seen in quite some time.

I imagine it'll be Velvet Divorce-y...it's not about sports teams and stuff, that's easy to work around...it's more just so that Texas can have Texas legislation and California can have California legislation go through. I imagine a lot of resources will still be shared...
