I know you can't put much stock in the extended forecast, but right now weather.com is calling for temps no higher than 50 every day from Apr 27-May 3.

This suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

I had around 4 inches on my deck this morning. Probably got another inch today. Heavy as heck too.

Yeah... Supposed to warm up this weekend and then back to crap next week. Would rather have it be during the week at least.

My brother is still hellbent on moving up north. I texted him that Western PA got snow yesterday, which he already knew about. He said the white stuff falling from the sky in April is better than the yellow stuff falling from the sky in February and March. He's mental...

And, what was originally forecast as a beautiful Saturday is now rain from 2am to 11am. Great.

Honestly, this has been the worse range of weather that I can remember for Spring in like ever. It's doing a doozy on my mental state.

I'll stand on this hill. This roller coaster thing has bitten me in the past to the point I was probably depressed. A few years ago I decided not to expect any decent weather until May. It's helped quite a bit.

Ah yes, May. When it suddenly becomes 90 and unbearable.

It's completely anecdotal and probably not weather related in a meaningful way, but two local amateur sports car race shop owners killed themselves last week. Young, successful guys who were multi-time national champions that were running high level successful race shops just committed suicide within a few days of one another out of nowhere. I think some of my malaise has something do with that, and the weather is just making it worse.

I'd say May and June have about 75/25 bearable/very nice weather days. There are some hot and humid days mixed in, but I'll take those over the 40 degree days. July and August are 25/75 bearable with the heat and humidity. September is perfect. October is a mix. Get rid of changing the clocks and November is more bearable.

This isn't defending Pittsburgh weather because it sucks. It's just my way of coping, as I don't plan on moving.

That sucks but anyone pushed into doing that by some extra cold and rainy days has lots of other issues.

I would settle for colder sunny days, maybe just don't rain so much so you can't even go outside. That being said, I was going to cut my grass, and now it's like 5 inches high.

So it's right into mower season earlier than normal this year, for me anyways.

Yeah I know. It just seems like we’ve gone straight from winter to mid-summer the last few years. I like a good spring.
