At the US Women’s Open in Charleston yesterday. This is why you don’t stand under trees in a t-storm. This strike was about 200 yards from the media center so now I know what a bomb exploding sounds like.
I appreciate the Caddyshack reference.

Doesn't get much better than this for early June. Great sleeping weather in the mid-40s tonight followed by a nice warmup into the mid-70s tomorrow? Yes please.

This will probably be a Top 3 nice day for the period between June-August. Low to mid-70s, zero humidity, nice cool start to the morning, brilliant sunshine, etc. We'll be pining for this when it's 83 degrees at midnight.

Yeah, got to wear one of my long sleeve winter/fall shirts to work today instead of a jacket. Feels nice.

Although I felt colder yesterday despite the local news acting like it was going to be the arctic out there this morning.

Two thoughts from this: (1) It never even occurred to me to wonder what immature ladybugs looked like; and (2) immature ladybugs look nothing like adult ladybugs.

Fantastic sunset all across PA last night. You have the Canadian wildfires to thank for that.

10 day forecast has a 50% or greater chance of heavy rain every single day. My garden was just about to recover, this will likely properly drown it.

We had a tornado or two over our way. Missed our house by a couple miles. Never really got too bad here but was a little bizarre watching the live videos on the news of a funnel cloud/possible tornado 3 miles away

Day 1: Light rain, followed by torrential rain and lightning.

This week is gonna suck butt.

If you are wondering why, we are going to be stuck right around a frontal boundary for the next four-plus days.

Just realized last night that water is leaking into the garage through the brick mortar. So, this week should be fun.

In between bouts of rain there was some blue sky today. Just enough of a taste so you remember what you are missing.

Fertilized half of the lawn tonight so I should have a jungle by Sunday.

But then the brutal dew points in the upper 60s/low 70s remind you where you are.

TBH, before this week, we have had a pretty damn awesome stretch of weather. Yes, there has been a fair amount of rain, but we have had more beautiful days in the 70s with low humidity and sunshine then I can remember in a while.

Dewpoint of 72 here this morning. Gross already. But we had an awesome couple of days with sun and topped out in the upper 70s (air temp). Unheard of in SC in June (or May really lol).
