I've been hating on TWC for years. Used to love it back in the Local on the 8s days

If we collectively follow Petey Pablo’s instructions, North Carolina might be able to generate enough t-shirt wind force to push Florence out to sea.

You and I have the same weather. Pretty stiff breeze around 25 mph

My wife’s cousin lives in Concord and she lost power around 9:30 last night. Not sure if they got it back or not.

Rainy this morning here, sometimes heavy, and windy. Nothing bad though. A neighborhood near me lost power last night for awhile.

Trying to maintain his footing on wet grass...yeah, that’s the reason.

That video is hilarious. I like that wet grass is one of their excuses, especially since at the end of the video one of the guys in shorts starts casually walking on grass.

Insane how much rain is falling. I opened my radar app for the first time since Thursday night, and honestly it looked almost exactly the same.

Just catastrophic rain.

Every single channel in Charlotte has this storm doing something completely different.

Makes it hard to make decisions

My friends in Carteret and Craven counties are saying that other than some trees down and localized flooding they came out of it unscathed.

Don't let me tell you about how massively irresponsible all channels in Charlotte have been of the past couple of days. They've been acting like Katrina hit the coast and is getting ready to bear down on us.

I get that you need to be serious and honest about the dangers of high water and stuff but they act like Noah is outside building a boat and then when they go to the live feed it looks like almost nothing is happening.

The remnants of Florence spawned several tornadoes in the Richmond area today. Pretty crazy video of one of them in this link
