1PM and its 76, will probably be 77. For reference, the high today for Honolulu will be 79. Shorts and sandals today while working at home, love it......and then a thirty degree drop for Thursday. Oh well

Yup. It's funny because a lot of times breaking record temperatures is just sheer luck. What interests me more than individual daily records is overall rankings for the month (i.e, warmest/coldest days ever for a given month). February certainly isn't unheard of for this stuff, although, at least at PHL last year, we did not have a high of 70 or above all of last March.

Feb 8th 1900 77° is the feb record in pgh...we could come close today....Pittsburgh hit 76°last year, in 2000 and 1883.

I love looking at historical weather trends, climatology, etc. It's wild how much of a difference a 2-3 hour drive can make with climatology, like how much different Bradford's annual weather is as opposed to Johnstown. Bradford had whiteout snow falling in October.

Denver's high temperature on Sunday was 69F. Over a span of 40 hours, they dropped to a temperature of -3F on Tuesday morning
