Panel of our vinyl fence blew apart. Put it back up only for the next round of storms to blow it apart again. Weather is stupid.

The wind is intense here right now. We’re in a hill that’s typically pretty windy, but it’s way worse than normal at the moment.

This power outage is not the best.

Not an automatic one, no. We generally don't have long outages but we are thinking of adding a switch.

It was absolutely gorgeous in the Burgh this morning. My daughter and I hung out by the point and then walked around Schenley area after stopping at Carnegie. Got back dahntahn just in time.
Yeah, bummed I didn't plan to fish on the account of the weather forecast. We did get to home depot though for the monthly kids activity.

I've wanted to get one for camping, and after being out for about 18 hours last weekend I think I'm going to pull the trigger. I've had an eye on the predator series ones at harbor freight.

That's what I have, for racing. 3500 I think. I like it.

Power just came back so now I will forget about it. ;)

I got this one last time it was on sale. I haven't had to use it in an outage yet, but I feel better knowing I can run my sump pump if we lose it for an extended period of time.

A friend has the 3500 as well. That's precisely the one I'm eyeing up.

If we decide to take the camper to a football weekend at happy valley I'll be buying one.

Yeah, it's great for that. And it really is pretty quiet. You hear it but it's not a piercing rattling sound.

Power has been out since 2:15 yesterday. Finally get an estimated restore time of 11pm...on Tuesday.

What!

Folks are out of town for a month so took over their house. We have a grinder pump so we're basically shut down when power goes.

Penn Power gave us a similar estimate last week, then got the power on only 23 hours after it went out.

I wonder if that's an industry standard "power went out on the weekend, we're working on it" time estimate.

That's SOP. They give ridiculously exaggerated restoration times, so when it comes back early, they look like heroes.

Today was the first time that I really left the house since Friday. I was mostly home with a sick kid. Holy trees down everywhere.... Our one neighbor had a huge tree come down in their back yard. Lucky for them it somehow thread the needle right between their house and their shed/workshop. I double you could have purposefully cut it down in a more precise fall spot. Incredible luck.

My folk's neighbor had a tree come down on the property line between their two yards. Big 'ol pine tree that somehow managed to miss two sheds and my parents house. Best case scenario for where it landed.

For those of you who like looking at bright sunshine with your azaelas, I got bad news for ya. Rainy all 4 tournament days with a bottoming out of 54 on Saturday. Gonna be a fun one on the practice range that day.

Couple tornadoes a few miles from our house in South Jersey on Saturday night. Luckily no serious injuries.

The number of tornadoes in the Mount Holly NWS coverage area has been a little insane over the last several years. Bucks County especially...WTF?
