Depends on how far NW the mixing line makes it. Thinking closer to half a foot out your way

The Correlation Coefficient on radar does a great job of showing where the mix line is (bright orange = sleet/rain due to higher reflectivity). You can see making a major push into SE PA/South Jersey. Those of us that can stay out of that sleet/rain zone but stay closest to the mixing area are going to max out on snow totals. Still dumping heavily here but sleeting about 15 miles SE.

Finally starting to stick here in the burb -of the burb - of the Burgh. I skipped Sunday drinking for a friends bday and stayed home because they said it was going to be the heaviest mid afternoon. Meanwhile I had a trip to Snowshoe this weekend that fell thru and they got about a fresh foot.

Just awful:

https://www.accuweather.com/en/weather- ... n/70007598
At least 14 fatalities and more injuries were reported after damaging tornadoes hit Lee County, Alabama on Sunday.

More tornadoes were reported across Alabama and Georgia Sunday afternoon amid a severe weather outbreak across the southeastern United States.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Birmingham, Alabama, issued a tornado emergency at 2:09 p.m. CST Sunday due to the “confirmed large and destructive tornado.”

Damage to homes, buildings and trees has been reported across the area. One storm chaser in the area tweeted that a cell phone tower in the area has fallen following the storms.

I’ve been in the mix the last few hours.

Tons of salt going down.

5.1" storm total. Mixed with sleet/ZR for about 40 minutes last night but then back to snow for the duration. Happy I shoveled last night.

I was going to shovel when I took the garbage out last night. Just in case my wife might have issues getting out in the morning. Then I noticed that it was only about 2-3" of soft powder so I put the shovel away.

Ugh.
I remember going to Gettysburg with boy scouts in 2002. And when we came across the breezewood rest stop, the front of our white van was brown with these things.

The last time we REALLY got hit with cicadas I was a high school kid and real into paintball. My friends and I thought it was hilarious to jam cicadas into the chamber and shoot them at each other. In retrospect, we sound like future serial killers.

there are many different cicada broods (15+). each brood has a different life cycle. some are 13, some are 17. each of them is not on the same cycle, so we are blessed with frequent cicada broods. get with it nerd.
