My boss is taking off at lunch to head down to his folk's place in Lexington. Probably won't get hit too hard there, but he wants to be there just in case. His dad broke his hip a couple weeks ago, so if I were in his shoes, I'd probably do the same.

That applies for the not so deep south, too. Maryland with snow was always fun.

I was in Yellowstone NP in the middle of September (before the data on the map) and there were two snowstorms. Both times they closed roads in the park.

Apparently navigation apps like Waze and such are routing commuters directly into the LA-area wildfires.

Winter Storm Warnings up for most of New Jersey and Long Island, looking like 4-6" of snow. If it doesn't mix or changeover close to the shore, you could be looking at heavier amounts.

Chumpcar and Lemons are both running into problems with snow this weekend. They're racing in Alabama and Georgia, respectively.

Sitting in the plow yard in South Jersey since 5am. It’s now 9:08 and just saw one flake.Winter Storm Warnings up for most of New Jersey and Long Island, looking like 4-6" of snow. If it doesn't mix or changeover close to the shore, you could be looking at heavier amounts.
Could end up being a long day if this actually hits or a really short day if this fizzles.

Without getting into crazy detail, there was a lot of convection off the coast of the Carolinas last night that pushed this further eastward than anyone (or any model) predicted or guessed. Long story short....maybe a couple inches in your neck of the woods? Bummer man.Could end up being a long day if this actually hits or a really short day if this fizzles.

I’m getting paid to sit here. It would just be nice to get a whole day and that only happens if we get rolling.
It’s actively snowing now, but not accumulating on the roads yet.
I can see this being a problem later when the melted show freezes. Be safe out there if you go out.

I am on the only direct flight into Pittsburgh at 1:30pm today. Got stuck in Philly last night after having to connect here since Charlotte canceled my flight to Pittsburgh. I'm hoping the snow holds out but am worried I'll have to spend another night here.
This has been an awful trip.
