Accuweather calling for 1/4" to 1/2" of ice and 1-3 of snow by Friday. Weather.com says 1" of snow and ice tomorrow and 5-8" of snow tomorrow night. We're right on the snow/ice line of everything I have seen. Buckle up baby.

I had to grab a few normal things from Kuhn's last night, which was also a poor decision. As the cashier was ringing up my few items, some lady in the next lane walks over and takes my cart. I look right at her and tell her that's my cart and she's like "oh, really? Sorry..." and the runs off to find a different one.

She had so many groceries that the bags couldn't fit in one cart.

So what is the latest news here on the ice. Is it happening now? Accuweather says ice is supposed to start at 10:00 am and go thru 7. But it is 36 degrees right now. Is that cold enough for freezing rain?

Pittsburgh proper should start seeing freezing rain around 4-6 pm. That's what the tweet says anyway, even though the graphic says 6-8pm.

Freezing rain started in Beaver Co. Salted the walk and drive early and so far so good.

Radar makes it seem like the freezing rain is not moving towards pgh at all.

I snowblowed (snowblew?) The driveway at 8 and it already looks like no one's touched it all day. We probably have like six inches already. This is like the third straight storm where we've gotten more than projected? Wtf?

Still freezing rain in BF. There's been maybe an inch or two of snow mixed in but mostly ice. I'd trade this **** for a foot of snow in a heartbeat. Been trying to keep the cars cleared but if I haven't lost that battle yet I will have by morning because I'm not getting up at 3 AM.

Been snowingish for at least an hour in Zelie. Freezing rain was barely a thing.
