Will let you know next week. And even then don't expect precision.

Most recent Mount Holly map from this morning. They are holding pat. That Euro model shows QPF...essentially, liquid quotient (so if it was rainfall, that would be the actual total). Snowfall comes in different ratios...in ideal systems at the height of winter, you can have 15:1+ ratios (15 inches of snow to 1 inch of rain). In late March, that's not happening...more like 7:1 or 8:1 probably.

My boss sent out the "use your best judgement tomorrow" email. AKA, if I see one drop of snow I'm not coming in.

Damn, Mount Holly just rolled out another map with the 12z model updates. We're locked in. I am just west of Coatesville.

Yup, just got off a conference call with Emergency Operations and listened to the NWS Mt. Holly guy talk about how bad it's looking.

Overnight should be rain and freezing rain with possibility of glazing on the roads. BE CAREFUL!

Snow is not really supposed to start until daybreak-8am. But there will be periods of 1" per hour and possibly as much as 2-3" per hour throughout the day. Stay off the roads! Please.

So Pittsburgh gets 4" while Philadelphia gets 16? Suckers.

Glanced at my phone: "25 minutes slower than usual - crash past the Veterans bridge." I have to take 279 home now since 28 is literally an hour now.

It has begun.

Unless you like snow. I'd rather have a historic spring snowstorm than boring temps in the 30s. I get to work from home tomorrow and play with my daughter in the snow.

Coming down nicely now...about 2.75" so far (2" for Round 2 since midnight). Our goldendoodle is loving life.

The commute in today was pretty bad. The turnpike is almost always clear no matter the weather, but today it was a mess. Seems like Mr. Plow and his merry men were on sabbatical today.

Cute dingo.

Icy walk to work this morning. Though, I'm happy to schlep in to a job that provides a non-essential service that can easily be done from home...

I heard it was raining in Philly as of about an hour ago. Crazy the difference 30-40 miles can make.

Heavy stuff is coming for you guys closer to lunch time.

It's been sleeting here since around 7:35 I'd say...my face may be bleeding from my walk down Market...

This is one of those snows that I was talking about earlier. I swear in my youth we would get these 2-3 times a month and it wouldn't get warm enough in between for most of it to melt off. The next 5 days are all sunny and 40s-50s. I'm not even going to snow blow the driveway since it'll be gone by the weekend.

My district went into permissive telework status. Woooo.

I’ve been sitting on standby in a DOT yard since midnight. I’ll be here through the end of the storm.

Still sleeting/freezing rain. They are expecting heavy snow at a pace of at least 1” per hour and perhaps as much as 2-3” per hour at various points.

March sun angle is no joke. Even if it was in the low 30s the next five days, and cloudy, the sun is strong this time of year.

This city is incapable of dealing with anything snow-related. From the top down.

Which was weird because they expected this one. It felt like there was zero preparation, the news folk even said stay off the roads if you can. Guy, it's Wednesday - people work.
