Pretty serious snow squalls moving through western PA today. Those things are more dangerous than full-blown storms, because people will be driving and are not expecting the sudden whiteout conditions. I've lost count of how many fatal pileups there have been on I-80 west of Clearfield.

Looks like a 36 hour shtshow of weather starting tomorrow morning. Bear in mind a lot of this could be falling as sleet and/or not sticking since it is falling during the day. That said, Wednesday looks like extremely heavy snow in the greater Philadelphia area.

True or false: This morning was the last morning in the 20's this season?

Place your bets.

It's a rather pointed question. As I recently had my warmest coat stolen from a bar, so I'm wondering if I should take advantage of the cornucopia of men's outerwear sales that I see going on or not.
Also, this was posted 2/13 I think and there hasn't been a morning in the 20's since...this is probably the last week for this bet to turn bad...

I mean, say what you want about the quality of the city...but it's one of the biggest cities in the country no matter how you slice it...and that's regardless of what time period you're alive during...

I don't know what time your commute is, but it was in the 20's in Philadelphia on 2/17, 3/6, 3/10, and 3/17

Now as for the location with any person that visits this board would likely have thought you meant: Pittsburgh, the temperature was in the 20's on 2/17, 3/3, 3/4, 3/5 (this one got into the teens!), 3/6, 3/8, 3/9 (never got out of the 20's, actually...), 3/10, 3/11, 3/12, 3/13, 3/14, 3/15, 3/16, and 3/17

Hot damn...the Euro model just came out, and it is an absolute bomb of a slow-moving Nor'easter for eastern PA/NJ. Don't fixate too much on the actual amounts, but this is a good potential indicator of axis of heaviest stuff.

Commute starts at around 8:15 am so that I can be at work by 8:30.

And I'm pretty sure everyone on this board knows where I live or thereabouts...

Regardless, when I sit down for breakfast at around 7:50, I pull up the weather underground app on my phone and exactly zero times since whenever I made that post has the temperature started with a 2. Once it was 31. Das it.

Granted, I do not look on weekends.
