Total fcking bust out here. At the last second this stupid storm shifted east by about 60 miles. Philly will end up with about a foot of snow, and we'll be lucky to get 2-3. So dumb.

It wasn't doing anything when I got on the bus this am. The cars and street were wet, but no snow/rain. When I got off the bus it started raining.

I think it's just going to be sloppy in Pittsburgh, which is a pain commute wise.

About a 1/4" on my car and deck stairs when I left this AM. Nothing out by the airport.

It snowed for about 10 minutes and switched back over to a rain/sleet amalgamation of annoyance...

Though, the guy that sent the all user e-mail yesterday at 4 to let people know that they ought to be in tomorrow, sent an e-mail to just the managers/directors that he will be working from home today because of the alleged storm...not that I don't get it, but the optics are funny to me...

Snow was enough to be an annoyance while driving this AM. An accident westbound on the turnpike between Pgh and Allegheny Valley exits had traffic backed up at least 7 miles. Luckily I was going the other way.

I will say, our office is closed today so it's a WFH day. Is actually really pretty outside, but the snow is having a hard time sticking to roads because the temp is 33F. Also, the higher March sun angle just kills accumulations during the day. That said, this is in a couple of hours...yikes.

28 was a parking lot so I drove down Butler/Liberty. Probably took the same amount of time but was less stressful, more stuff to look at.

Was listening to an AFR album while driving through Lawrenceville so I've ticked off all of my hipster points for the day.

I have one of the bigger windows in the office, so naturally, a lot of people come in to check out what's going on outside...and absolutely zippo is happening...as such, a lot of non-believers in this storm now...

Heavy rain now with some slushy drops in it.

Sky got more menacing. Is this the changeover?

Bah! A lot of my lunch spots were prematurely closed. I went out as it started to get bad...

I might just go to the Pens game tonight because everyone will be dead or dying...

Some of the best memories of attending Penguin games were the nights when the weather was really bad. Trying to drive up Pride St. and walking sliding down Centre Ave and watching everybody else slip on the same patch of ice somehow made the atmosphere all the better.

Agreed. The good stuff stayed to the east. Sounds like a lot of thundersnow, 3"/hour rates around Philly.

And just like that, it's done. It snowed for about 5 hours.

I am in Winter Haven Florida and it's cold. Like low 40s tonight/tomorrow morning. I've been coming to Florida since I was 5 years old, and being cold here is completely new to me.
