I slept through it I guess. Heard some heavy rain at some point, but neither dog seemed to be bothered by it so it couldn't have been too bad around these parts.

The storm was severe enough I got up to see if there was a tornado warning.

Last night was the first time our 2 year old was allowed to sleep in our bed as he was terrified of the storm. He was too excited to sleep, so 4:15 AM wake up for us this morning.

Finally got our first real thunderstorm (albeit brief) of the spring. Would have liked a more severe storm, but beggars can't be choosers

93 here today, 96 on Saturday and Sunday. Too soon. Too hot. Very glad we don't have a baseball tournament this weekend.

Enhanced threat of severe storms tomorrow across Pennsylvania. We rarely hit moderate and I don't think I've ever seen high around these parts. Should be some great boomers around tomorrow.

The next 9 days is all t-storm forecast. The weather is cycling between heavy downpours and brilliant sun. It's basically a rain forest. We planted our spinach and lettuce a few days ago and it's already popping up.
It's great for the garden but I have to ninja the lawn. Got out and did the back yard and much of the hill during lunch today and about 15 minutes later we were in a downpour. Probably still won't get the first cut on the front yard done today.

Yeah, I decided to cut the lawn lower than usual on Friday. I had to rake two bags of grass, but it sure looked nice when I was done. With this rain, I'm already dreading the quick growth, clumping, etc.

Got mine done after work. It poured here until early afternoon, then bright sun and a nice breeze. I thought for sure it would still be too wet, but it wasn't bad at all.The next 9 days is all t-storm forecast. The weather is cycling between heavy downpours and brilliant sun. 6ABC is showing it tracking further south to hit us pretty well now too. Hoping no hail or high winds destroying crops.

Yeah, they preemptively cancelled my football game for 6 tonight, so I'm assuming we're gonna get slam-a-lammed...but it's still sunny and 500 degrees out...which, will just power the storm all the more...

That line delivered and then some up in northeast PA and the Hudson Valley. Tornado-warned cells everywhere. Right now the line stretches about as far south as York....not sure how well the southern end will hold together. Philly might get clipped.

WOW. You know it is a serious line of storms when you can actually see the heights of the cloud tops from satellite. Some of those cloud tops are pushing 50,000 feet.
