We’ve had ice/snow pop up on the extended forecast for Christmas Day. Gone right now, but with the rain and cold temps, it might actually happen. First white Christmas - potentially - since 1989. That was the year Hurricane Hugo hit in September, and then 6+ inches of snow around the state Christmas Day. It was 70 or so a day or two later. Typical.

I'd take a few 70 days to melt this snow away.

Fun forecast for Christmas. High of 45F on Christmas Eve and then the temp plummets to 18F and there is 3" of snow forecast on Christmas Eve/Day. Cool

Check out this model for 10pm Christmas Eve. That is one HELL of a cold front.

The entire Pittsburgh area slated for a solid 3-6" snowfall Christmas Eve into Christmas. Jealous :(

Good breakdown of tonight's festivities. It's gonna be wild.

Looking forward to waking up Christmas morning to a flooded yard and no snow.

The grass was covered before midnight. Impressive. Some wind whipped through for about a half-hour prior, a pretty impressive drop in temperature.

Pretty hostile rain and wind here in Jersey.

A couple big branches down so far.

High temperature on my weather station was 62 (!) degrees at 1220 this morning. Down to 41 and crashing.

We got 4-5 here. Roads look clear though from what I can see. Plows have been down our road several times already.
