Weird. He was in a truck. They go good in the snow.
Yeah that dude was going wayyyyy too fast in that truck. Should be cited for reckless driving. MUH 4WD

This is crazy.

Was pretty common in Erie when I lived there for three winters. I don't know how WK survives it

So we probably got around a foot of snow give or take. Very nice. Haven't had one like that in awhile.

Nice except that my street has not been plowed at all so there is about 10 inches of snow on the road. A pickup truck tried to use it and got stuck so he had to dig himself out and turn around. I created a 311 request but my guess is I'm just one of many.

I have to say our road was kept as clean as they could. It's completely clear right now. I haven't seen what Haymaker looks like, but I'm assuming they try to keep it clear since it leads to both Forbes and UPMC east.

I shoveled out the drive way last night and our sidewalk. It's covered again, but I'm glad I got what I did last night today shouldn't be as bad.

When it's all you've known, it's not that big of a deal. Being heavily invested in snow removal equipment and studded snow tires helps a lot. It's gotten better since I was a kid in the 70's. Back then, the stuff that fell around Christmas usually stayed around for the rest of the winter. At least now we get regular thaws between storms.

I think they took the same approach to our road as I did with my driveway... "yeah, we'll take care of that when it stops snowing."

Looks like things should be cleared up. Might head into work after lunch time.

The first storm I had up there it dumped 18 inches overnight, I was completely unprepared. After my first winter I was expecting it more, but it still isn't fun heading down 12th without being able to see 25 feet in front of you. As the kids would say, you people are built different.

This pissed me off supremely yesterday. Our roads weren't plowed until 12:30 AM this morning, and seemingly there were no trucks around at all in the area with the exception of two main roads.

Then they plow our street last night, and plowed my effing yard to boot, which pushed my garbage cans over and spilled **** everywhere.

So Pittsburgh is done with snow right? If I go out and shovel on my lunch break, I don't want to have to do it again later today.

Thinking of selling my snow blower today while the iron is hot. It's actually too small for most jobs around here anyway. The wet snow clogs it up every single time. And it's no good for anything over 6-8 inches, it'll just stall out.

I listed mine for $175, dropped it down to $75 and haven't gotten a single hit on it. Some other folks are selling the same exact one for $150 so not sure what's up.
