The NWS does a fantastic job putting together after-action reports. This is an interesting page on the evening/nighttime severe outbreak on April 14-15 in the Delmarva. Interesting read in terms of the tornado signatures.

Mother's Day/Monday are going to be lovely. I've really been enjoying mowing my lawn every 3-4 days this spring. (A small amount of the rain on this map is from the CFP today, but most of it is for Sunday/Monday.)

Yep. It rained 5 inches here in the last hour. Not sure what the wind was, but it was good and fast, tree went down in a neighbor's field.

Yeah, it was supposed to rain heavy, but no one predicted a tropical storm. It was bizarre.

There are crazy storms passing northwest of us tonight. A nonstop lightning bolt show from a storm 20 miles away.

Looks like a tornado probably touched down about 15 miles northwest of us. Crazy.

Significant severe weather threat for much of PA tomorrow, including the greater Pittsburgh area. Hail and isolated tornadoes certainly in the mix.

One of the moms on my son's baseball team that friended everybody on the team posted something today about some massive shark frenzy on the coast.
There isn't one.
If you do head up there let me know how it is.

Watch out for the the wildlife. I can't remember if it was alligators or snakes they warned us about. Nice white sand paddock though, although its been a decade since I was there for Lemons.

Meanwhile, tornado went just north of Joplin exactly 8 years to the day after the the one that ripped right through town. Later last night, the same line produced a devastating tornado that tracked straight through the state capitol in Jeff City. All non-essential state personnel are being asked to stay home while they attempt to get power back and clean up the mess.

Confirmed tornado touched down in Bucks County on Sunday. We had several tornado warned cells near us last night but ended up with zero in the rain gauge this morning.
A storm survey team determined a tornado briefly touched down over
the Beaver Valley Campgrounds in Tinicum Township, Bucks County, PA
near Ottsville on Sunday evening. The tornado tracked from southwest
to northeast across the property for approximately one quarter of a
mile with a maximum path width of about 100 yards. The tornado was
on the ground for approximately one minute. Dozens of trees were
uprooted with several trees snapped in a manner consistent with
tornadic winds. The tornado reached its maximum width and intensity
near the end of its path where three camping trailers were
significantly damaged by fallen trees. Fortunately, no injuries were
reported as a result of this tornado.
