I saw another doom piece on no snow at ski resorts and the end of skiing. I don't ski, but that's not good.

I know we've talked about this before, but growing up I remember seeing snow on the ground from late November into April most years. A few years, my brothers and friends would build snow trenches and forts that would last most of the winter.

Granted, I've lived in the south since 1990, so I'm not sure when that stopped - although I did stay in CT for a week in January and they had had snow all season, and that was around 2000 or early 2001.

Teachers were telling the kids to expect a virtual day tomorrow. Calling for 1-4 inches, maybe a glaze of ice. My money’s on they’re going.

Mrs. f had a training postponed down at RMU but people were coming in from Altoona, Erie, WV, Cumberland MD, some of those places could have a lot worse.

Our school district called off at 6 pm. When I went, we'd be lucky to get a delay.

Virtual day. Poor kids will never know the thrill of watching the news and seeing your school having a snow day

I get irrationally angry/grumpy when there is a call for a decent snow event and nothing happens.

My wife knew I was going to be grouchy this morning.

Might want to check again. I'm down the road in Robinson and it's coming down pretty good.

Honestly this one was hilariously embarrassing. Not because of the news, they always do that - but I can't remember a time I've seen so many people scared, worried about an expected 3 inches of snow. Like, that's a normal snow day mostly every year, why are we worried about this so much?

The alert says 1-3 inches for me, but like - this isn't something that's even a blip on the radar. Who cares.

Yeah... if you're freaking out over 1-3 inches of snow, that's a problem. If you're freaking out about not having 6 inches when you wake up, and it was forecasted for 1-3 inches through the morning, that's a worse problem.

Was having a dream about being in an aircraft flying through turbulence. Woke up and it was just an earthquake.
