Another rainy weekend. Cool. The only wet day on my 10-day forecast is Saturday.
My 40th bday BBQ is on Saturday :(

There are a total of 16 people coming, half of which are under 10. I was very adamant about not wanting a huge thing

As much as I'm absolutely loving the forecast for my week off next week, it is going to get downright crispy around here.

Lot of golf incoming

I can't imagine the area is far off from a D2. Looks like we'll get some thunderstorms roll through tomorrow, but we haven't seen a drop of rain in what feels like a month.

I've been watering our plants 2 to 3x daily cause its been so dry and hot. Tried to keep the front yard grass alive, but its getting scorched in the afternoon sun that beats on our front yard for like 8 hours.

I think the last time it rained was when my roommate and I tried to book a Saturday tee time a week in advance.

So expect rain on Juneteenth.

It has rained every Saturday our kids have had a dek hockey game. Tomorrow is their last game, and all week it was calling for sunny (albeit hot) weather. Today I open the weather app and there's a 40% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow. Might as well make it 100%

It's far out but the 11th to the 16th is being forecast as non-stop rain, so you guys should be happy.

High of 90 today. Fun.

I do find it amusing that the high on Wednesday is 66 but the cool air isn't bringing any precipitation with it.

I have noticed that although the temperatures have been in the mid to upper 80s the past few days, it hasn't been terrible outside. The humidity is low. So it makes sense that a drop in temperature isn't enough to bring rain, as there isn't enough water in the air to begin with.

86 is the highest temperature we have over the next 10 days, and most days it's around 80 or so. Very mild so far this late spring.

I have a construction project later in the month, lots of excavation and laying of concrete. So you guys will get plenty of rain right around the official start of summer.

My lawn is officially burned. I don't remember this ever happening in June let alone pretty much May

2020. I remember because the lawn stopped growing and our lawn care people would get pissed off because we wouldn't let them cut it and charge us $135 for the pleasure of riding around in a dirt pile for 45 minutes.

I left for a short vacation on Sunday. At that time there was a small patch looking toasty. I returned home to a 1/3rd roasted lawn

My grass is lush and green. Helps that just about every square inch sees some kind of shade during the day. Also helps that I just mowed it two days ago after letting it go for 2 weeks.

My garden on the other hand is looking like the Bonneville Salt Flats.
