We've had measurable rain 8 out of the last 9 days.

That said the weekend is looking fantastic after a miserable two week stretch. 70 and sunny.

I kept checking the forecast and saw that today is truly hump day. Get past today, and only good vibes from here on out. Unless ktk says something completely off his rocker again about the Pirates and starts the cycle all over again.

I'm taking my kayak to the OBX on Saturday. Was going to mount the roof rack system today but there's something about doing that in freezing rain that really takes the fun out of it.

My grass is a solid 5-7 inches high, and I am thinking I have to cut it between the rain tomorrow.

The good news is this is the first weekend in a month we don't have a tee ball game on Saturday (they've basically all been canceled minus one).

The bad news is it's on Friday and that's pre school graduation, so we won't make it anyway
