I see it the other way around. I have been QT since 3-Jan and my release day is Saturday. So I'll have one day to do stuff and then I'll effectively be QT'd again until I go back to work on Tuesday. Get bent, weather.

We do as well. Going to bring up the snowblower just in case. But I'm in the boat of I'll believe it when I see it.Thank goodness I have MLK day off, as do the kids. Wife is going to try to work that day.
The report on KDKA this morning said that we'll probably get some accumulation, but maybe an 2-3 inches, not the big storm everyone is talking about. So that's probably what I'm going to expect.

If KDKA is underreporting a projected snowfall hell itself has actually frozen over.

Grounds crew at uni was complaining about lack of help with snow removal when we got 2 inches last week. I bet they are thrilled right now.

I'll fill up my gas canister tomorrow before I head home for the weekend... looks like we're going to be at least upper single digits regardless of how it hits.
My boss actually just chatted with my group. Told us to make sure we take everything with us to be able to work from home on Monday. He said if there's some sort of state of emergency declared or if the highways get shut down, we'll just get a free PTO day.

In fairness, it was KDKA radio, but I'm sure the news itself will play it up.If KDKA is underreporting a projected snowfall hell itself has actually frozen over.

Based on the hoopla from my work last year about juneteenth, I thought we'd have it off this year. That was a big nope.I wish I got mlk day.

I'm going to guess we are going to go back to not really hearing about Juneteenth as much as 2021.

We get 5 floating holidays. It's clearly because they felt pressured to give us MLK or Juneteenth but for some reason that elicits eye rolls. This way we can take what we want.

I keep hearing about a big snow storm, and basically anything I check out says 1-3 inches. Whatever, I don't have to really go outside.

Storm track continues to back up NW. Honestly, you don't see it too often, to this extent.Shad, update on the storm, please?
I think anyone east of the Laurel Highlands sees a good bit of mixing. Far western PA should remain all snow.
Regardless, will be a mess.
