My yard is a swamp right now. Water started coming in through 2 of the basement windows, but the french drain helped with most of it. We were able to soak up the rest with towels and I recaulked.

This is a map showing the destructive rotation that can build within severe storms. Once you start getting up towards the top of that color chart, you are spinning up tornadoes. Extremely impressive how long these strong rotations were able to last.
That one in NJ could have spun up a tornado halfway up the state

We ended up with about 2.5” here in Bellefonte. I know a lot of my coworkers that commute up from Altoona got hit way worse.

Seeing pictures in my township's FB group makes me glad that all I had was a little water in the basement. Somebody has multiple inches of water, and another person's backyard is 100% underwater.

Glad you guys are okay. Our water situation is under control too.
This is crazy. Second highest crest of all time this morning for the Schuylkill at Philadelphia. Record is 160 years old or so

The storm didn't seem that bad to me, but when the news pointed out just how much water my area got, it was pretty obvious that I was wrong. The ~5g of water in my basement is a testament to that.
Thankfully, my Stanley wet vac took care of it like a champ. Now drying it out with a fan.
