Also my driveway is huge, so depending on weight of snow I'll use the blower.

Was it enough snow to placate the anti-meteorologist types?

After shoveling I'd say at least 6 inches outside with a nice coat of ice underneath of it all.

It was closer to a routine snowfall than the Blizzard of 93. I can still see grass in parts of my yard. They should feel shame.

Local broadcsst news is a dying medium, the sooner the better.

It certainly was no blizzard, but I think how much you got depends on where you are. I can't see any grass at all in my yard or on my driveway(until I shoveled it all off)

With the wind certain places may appear to have gotten more or less than what actually fell, too. Which is why I posted the readings.

We've had zero snow since the 70s. Earthquakes, not so much.

Can't see a blade of grass, or slip of asphalt here in Allison Park. At least three inches out there.

I got home from my concert at 3 last night. Drove some friends back to Southside and took 579. There was enough snow that, if I wasn't in the tire tracks, it was seriously affecting the drive. I couldn't tell where the road ended and the curb began in my neighborhood.

The rapid temp drop yesterday made for some really cool frost on my shed window today. Took a few pics. I really like this one - think I'll call it Reflection of House and Spruces:

The 376 bathtub looks flooded and they say it probably won't be receded by game time tomorrow. Talk about a disaster if so, especially with the rivers being frozen I'd imagine the clipper won't be running either.

Wtf is up with that bathtub on 376? How hard would it be to install some drainage? That is insane that a major interstate floods that easily

Surface roads are still **** in the city. A lot of roads look like they haven’t seen a plow at all.

It's on the river bank. There's nowhere for the water to go

Our friends took us to dinner in Squirrel Hill after the game.i was stunned when he showed us the flooding. Fortunately he knew a way to get us back to the hotel.

It's designed that way. It's functionally a ditch to keep downtown from flooding.

Pretend it's NC-12 and you will find it endearing.
