Pittsburgh is at 12.5 plus whatever we picked up this past weekend, so I'm guessing around 17-18. This is the lowest total since 1990-91 when Pittsburgh only had 17.2 inches.

If this model even comes close to fruition....man. More snow in North Carolina than PA this year?

Great writeup on the unexpected squall line that developed along the I-95 corridor yesterday. Winds were crazy...over 200 severe wind reports and several tornadoes touched down.

What's been the snowfall here this year? 4"?

I was just listening to the Carlin bit about how he was sad that not enough natural disasters strike downtown areas. Weird.

Man, it's getting even worse than originally thought.

https://apnews.com/795688aab981d4e8220042c20e095b55
Tornadoes ripped across Tennessee as people slept early Tuesday, shredding at least 140 buildings and killing at least 22 people. Authorities described painstaking efforts to find survivors in piles of rubble and wrecked basements as the death toll climbed.

One twister caused severe damage across a 10-mile (16 kilometer) stretch of downtown Nashville, wrecking businesses and homes and destroying the tower and stained glass of a historic church. Another erased homes from their foundations along a two-mile (3.2-kilometer) path in Putnam County.

Daybreak revealed a landscape littered with blown-down walls and roofs, snapped power lines and huge broken trees, leaving city streets in gridlock. Schools, courts, transit lines, an airport and the state Capitol were closed. More than a dozen polling stations were damaged, forcing Super Tuesday voters to wait in long lines at alternative sites.

Imagine being this dude stuck in a crane 375 feet in the air and watching a tornado rip through downtown.

As if a pandemic wasn’t enough, Mother Nature trying to add even more cray cray to 2020 with earthquakes. First SLC and now Idaho. Might wanna stay away from that San Andreas Fault the next month or so.

We did two hikes this weekend with the nice weather. It was nice, and refreshing to just be out and it was beautiful and calm. My wife and I needed that.

I played some golf yesterday, it was great. Big difference between 55 and sunny and 50 and cloudy with wind though I must say

Yesterday mid-morning was absolutely great. Once that rain rolled in it kind of cooled things off (looked like I was just on the Northern tip of it). Still pretty good nonetheless.

Yeah, I was still up and that was something else. Just the one big initial push and then a prolonged lightning show.
