You probably like whoppers.

Whoppers are preferable to Milk Duds. The latter a candy I have only ever seen at halloween.

We have a woman at work that frequently brings in big variety bags of candy. Guess what’s always the last candy bar I the basket? Guess.

Turd Milky Way! Always!

It’s science!

Well, a cold front is rolo-ing on in tomorrow, bringing with it a good n plenty amount of rain which will undoubtedly cause mounds of traffic. You don't want to get caught in a flash flood and require a lifesaver to come get you.

My suggestion...use a PTO DAY. Stay home..Take 5 minutes to search for some old Steelers highlights. Maybe some old TE #83 Miller ones...or if defense is your thing go with FS #23 Mitchell & CB #24 Taylor ones. Hell, put on some Eminem in the background. I tell ya, you'll feel like a 100 grand.

And if you don't, eff it...Friday's payday.

I like Milky Ways, but this **** in Wikipedia just blew my mind:
There are two variants: The global Milky Way bar, which is sold as 3 Musketeers in the US; and the US version, which is sold as the Mars bar elsewhere.
WHY IS THE GLOBAL VERSION OF THE MILKY WAY A 3 MUSKETEERS!?!?

I think I kind of underestimated the significant severe threat with this storm system. It is 64 degrees outside as I type this, which is crazy for Halloween morning at 6:45. Looks like a pretty nasty squall line moving through the state today ahead of the front.
Latest thinking is frontal convection
will begin to increase in coverage/intensity by 18z from eastern KY
into southwest PA, then an upward-evolving squall line with
potentially damaging winds should surge east toward the Delmarva,
extending south into southern VA, possibly into NC by early evening.
Linear storm mode certainly favors straight-line wind damage as
storm motions are forecast to be quite fast. A few embedded
tornadoes can not be ruled out due to the strength of the wind
fields.

50mph gusts starting at 5PM tonight. Should be a fun walk halloween walk with the kids. How am I supposed to go corning if the corn won't even hit the house? I'm also glad we spent all of this time and money into costumes when we'll end up going as weather reporters in a hurricane.

I brought my rain hat today. It wasn't raining when I came in, and at 50mph I won't be wearing it on the way out.

I remember, as a child in Massachusetts, having to wear a parka and trudge through light snow a few Halloweens. It was always cool, too. 70 there today, with a gale warning. Ugh.

I'll take snow over rain for trick or treating. Sucks for the kids who actually put a lot of time into their costumes

I just don't see why all municipalities can't postpone until tomorrow or (better) Saturday PM. The weather will be PERFECT for Halloween...temps in the 50s dropping into the 30s at night, with crystal clear skies. It feels like June outside.

Shad's in favor of turning today's youth into a bunch of pussies. Halloween is the 31st. Your costume this year is a rain coat. If you want candy, suck it up and brave the ****.

It looks like that nasty squall line associated with the front will not really be formed until it gets east of the Pittsburgh area, so you've got that going for you.

Probability of damaging winds (greater than 58 mph) within 25 miles of any given point in that zone. Damn, we are right in the crosshairs.

I'd love to have it on Halloween, but what's the point of putting in all of the time and money into a costume that you can't even wear out? Speaking selfishly as a parent who walks with my kids for 2 hours, I don't want to walk in the rain and wind either. You push it back a day and now I have a free evening to watch a scary movie with my kid and still dress up tomorrow on a nice day. Pretty much like getting 2 halloweens. I'll take it.

edit: I'll add too, it's not just a light rain, I did trick or treating last year in the rain and is was fine, this is a torrential downpour with 50pmh winds.
