You know, I'd settle for maybe one giant snow storm this year. It's been really really mild. Otherwise, just go ahead and get higher than 50 degrees.

I haven't even gotten the snow blower out of the shed yet this year... It can stay there for all I care.

Supposed to start snowing around 3 and more or less go through 1 PM.

I also see it's not supposed to drop below 36. Commute tomorrow should be fine right?

The roads will be fine, but people will see the "white rain" and assume the roads must be sheet ice

Yeah winter sucks anymore. The weather of SWPA in general is terrible. It's Grey and rainy 65% of the time

If you would rather have this than snow in January, you are nuts. That's why I complain about the lack of snow. We are going to get plenty of precipitation in January and February regardless. Would you rather have heavy rain and 34 degree temps or a nice snow cover when you wake up in the morning?

Most of us can work from home whenever. Many of us have snow blowers, garages, etc. I don't understand the total hate of snow. You have plenty of entertainment at home in the very rare cases where you are stuck at home for a couple days.

That's what I mean. It is going to be cold here every winter. I'd rather have occasional snowfall (with the big storm every now and then) to break up the depressing monotony and brighten things up. And we all love to talk about it, whether we admit it or not

I stepped out of indoor golf and directly into a **** gale. Holy hell. I was going to stop for gas but there were lightning strikes farther up Rt. 30 so I surrendered and went home.

I’ll take a 10 minute thunderstorm over snow any day. I don’t have to shovel a thunderstorm. Thunderstorms won’t leave behind snow or ice that will **** with my ability to get somewhere. And a thunderstorm at least means it’s not miserably cold.

I'd rather have snow than ice. For years, we would get a dusting or two of snow every winter (January-February lol). It would shut everything down, schools would get delayed or canceled, and it would be gone the next day. On occasion, a heavier amount and it would stick around for a few days.

But the last few years, we just get ice storms. We've had at least 1 sometimes 2 ice storms, where we lose power for hours/days and it makes everything miserable.

Rain in January is stupid although that thunderstorm was fun last night. I am really missing snow in general this winter. I really miss shoveling, always feels good to get out for a couple hours and get everything looking nice with the snow on the ground

My dogs are like walking snow dusters. When they go out in the snow, they come back with a layers of snow caked into their fur. Granted the rain sucks and they also absorb grainy rain dirt water, but that eventually dries off with a towel. The snow has to melt off of them.

So that’s why I’ve come to dislike dealing with snow

Everyone that complains about snow, should just move to the Deep South.
