I have a box of these at home, I've never had one. They sound good. I may just try one tonight after the disappointment of not one kid having any mallow cups in their bags last night.Dodged the rain and got our trick or treating in last night. Not sure where to put Mr Goodbar in the candy bar power rankings.

Is it a full size? Not sure I've ever seen one. I only come across them in the Hersey assorted pack they use to dump off that disgusting dark chocolate nobody would want in a full size bar.

Went around with my nephews and one house was handing out apples. Imagine being that big of an dadhole that you hand out apples on Halloween.

I'm ok with apples, pretzels, fruit snacks.Went around with my nephews and one house was handing out apples. Imagine being that big of an dadhole that you hand out apples on Halloween.
If everybody did it it'd suck, but a couple healthy items gives me leverage when I tell the kids how much candy they can have at a given time. Dentist in our neighborhood growing up always passed out sample toothpaste and a Jolly Rancher.

Yes, Hersheys with peanuts, and they definitely sell full-size bars. Mostly at gas stations, I've found. I know Sheetz has them. Pretty sure Get-Go does too. Might've seen one at Shop N Save checkout.

Growing up we had a neighbor that gave out ice cream cones every year. Good times. But messy.

Welp, she didn't have a broom, but it seems one our witches flew off during the night. Should be fun to try and find her.

We had a guy with a commercial popcorn machine on his front porch giving out quart-size bags to kids. It was nice.

Best house in our neighborhood was right across the street from us. Split entry house. You'd go in their front door then head downstairs and out the garage. They'd have a different theme every year, but the only two I remember were Frankenstein's lab and Dracula's crypt. Freaking awesome...like a mini haunted house. Guy that lived there was a carpenter/contractor, so he built everything. Was just really cool.
Best part was that they'd recruit neighbors to help out or be characters...so when you came out of the garage there'd be like six or so houses handing out their candy in their driveway.

On Chelsea Court, houses are missing roofs and facades, and windows were busted in by the intense winds.
In total, the county estimates eight homes suffered extreme damage; four more have serious damage and 12 others have minor damage.

Didn't lose power yesterday. A bunch of sticks from my crappy silver maple trees are down all over my yard, but on the plus side, probably half of the leaves that were on my lawn yesterday have blown off to parts unknown.

As of right now, looking like a decent chance for the first flakes (and accumulation) of the season next weekend.

Also, out here in Lancaster, today is our last pre-5PM sunset until January 12. Remember, the earliest sunsets are skewed *before* the winter solstice, and the latest sunrises are skewed *after* the winter solstice, thanks to our wobble.
Pittsburgh still has a little over two weeks before sunsets creep before 5 PM. It could be worse...the sun sets in Bangor, Maine at 4:21 today, and sets before 4 for several weeks in late November/December.

I wanted to get a Crimson king Maple tree but when I looked at the price, I thought no way. Are silver maples that crappy? Because they're a cheap (free) alternative.Didn't lose power yesterday. They drop sticks and even large branches constantly. I have a pile of sticks in my back yard that's almost as tall as I am, and that represents only about two year's worth of sticks from three trees. They also love to grow into sewer lines or septic systems, so unless you're 100% PVC pipes then stay away. And they like to grow roots right along the surface, so you'll get knots of wood sticking out of the grass around their base. Do not recommend. I'm constantly hoping that mine will grow too close/over to the power lines and Duquense Light will come along and cut them down.I wanted to get a Crimson king Maple tree but when I looked at the price, I thought no way.
