Another mid May day where it won't get out of the 40s. Temps supposed to trend up all week and be pushing 80 by the weekend. Rainy, of course.

This is how I get a cold and play is it allergies, cold or covid

It snowed on Fri/Sat and then I was able to drive my convertible top-down yesterday. Pretty sure the birds are confused and everyone's vegetable gardens are ****.

My roommate moved his vegetable garden inside next to the window. Too much work moving it back and forth as we ride the weather rollercoaster

Two freeze warnings over the weekend, and now another frost advisory tonight. I have completely forgotten that the average temperature for the first half of May around here is 68-71. I think we've hit that number once, maybe. What a crap spring this has been.It snowed on Fri/Sat and then I was able to drive my convertible top-down yesterday. I'm sure in two weeks it will be 93 with a heat index over 100.

Just had about a minute of pea-sized hail here in this brief gusty shower we just had. Temperature dropped from 57 to 49 in about 10 minutes. Gave me something to report to NWS State College anyway

We've had 11 days in a row here below normal temps... That's impressive in today's climate.
Supposed to break that streak today, while also starting a 7 day streak for which there is a chance of rain. This spring sucks.

On the plus side, we haven't had to go from running the heat to running the AC over a two week period this year.

Yeah, we've just kept the heat on for the last 5 months straight
Does feel good to open the windows.

It's interesting...in eastern PA it is only supposed to make it to the mid-50s towards the middle of next week. You guys will be considerably warmer. I am assuming we are getting stuff off of the ocean, which is still quite cold this time of year. How is it already humid as ****? The weather here is a nightmare.

It was 77F when I was driving into work today. And moist.

There's been a line of storms that's sort of been swirling over Indiana and Ohio for something like two days now. For the weather geeks, is there something that is causing that unusual situation?

Thanks. I noticed it because the rain has been blowing west, and that's not something one sees very often.A *very* slow moving low pressure system out in the Midwest.

Good call. Yup, counter clockwise flow with the low top the SSW of western PA. There are two low pressure centers bridged by a stationary front which is causing the long lasting bad weather.Thanks.
