Herm Town just got pounded for a half hour. A shower or two throughout the day but that was about it til now. Not complaining too much, my A/C is getting fixed next week so this rain was welcome

I can see it from Southside now. I don't think I've ever seen lightning flash as often as I am right now

Another storm rolled in around 1:30 last night. Some pretty close lightning strikes kept me up for a little bit.

Preach. The vapid, stupid people drive me nuts. I'm sure it's the same people that comment "WE DIDN'T EVEN GET NOTHIN HERE, STUPID WEATHER PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT" on everything. So many dumb people.

More of the same today. That said, today has more of a squall line look as opposed to the individual super cells. Considerably more difficult to detect tornadic rotation in those big lines.

Our area got absolutely hammered. Lots of closed roads, washed out driveways, flooded basements, and some backyard landslides thanks to how developers tier yards. More heavy rain is going to be a disaster.

On the local news last night, I think it was WTAE, they had a guy on there like he was some kind of hero. His feat? He was speeding through the hail storm, trying to get home, while filming video and his windshield got cracked. They sent a news crew out to interview him.

It's possible if you weren't doing 60 mph in a hail storm and just pulled over that you might have saved your windshield. And even if it cracked anyway you wouldn't be barreling down the highway in your pickup truck with one hand holding a cell phone while you narrate. And the dumbshit news crew rewarding his asshattery; can't wait to see what Billy Bob does next.

Confirmed tornado touched down in Morgantown, PA last night (just off the PA Turnpike, south of Reading. Northern Lancaster/Chester and southern Berks are becoming a little Tornado Alley.

Probably just got 2 inches of rain here in the last 45 mins. Good grass growing weather, but I'm also glad I didn't throw down more seed earlier this afternoon.

At the US Women’s Open in Charleston yesterday. This is why you don’t stand under trees in a t-storm. This strike was about 200 yards from the media center so now I know what a bomb exploding sounds like.
