Saw about 10 seconds of eclipse through the stupid clouds.

I was enjoying the eclipse on the deck with the dogs until some idiot started shooting off a rifle and freaked the dogs out. I swear, there isn't as much gunfire in Juarez as there is in this pissant little town.

I'd scoped out what I thought were potential spots (using my "find some rural road where you can just pull over" strategy) before I left, and I picked some likely spots both in Pennsylvania and Ohio. I was originally planning on somewhere near Edinboro, but when I hit the traffic on 79 North before I was even at Cranberry, I saw that people were't taking the Turnpike and were all heading up 79, so I decided to divert to the alternate and head over to Ohio. Got there with plenty of time to spare.

Ohio really needs to install the "open road" type tolling systems at the Ohio border where no one has to slow down, because the red on that map on the Turnpike is just everyone having to slow way the eff down to go through the damn tollbooths. Got stuck there for like 25 minutes.
