That's okay, I once posted a pic of a magazine that was delivered to my house and completely forgot to redact my name and address.

In all seriousness, if y'all would want to pick a random Saturday and meet up in Philly, that would be fun. I don't think there'd be that same specter of awkwardness that you see at 4Chan meetups
The perfect thing would be a Pens game in Philly, one of us could buy tickets as people confirm and we could all sit together. I trust everyone ITT to commit to something like that (or pay anyway if they couldn't make it). Obviously that would be for next season. I'm always down. I've met some good friends through LGP/5AF--been to two weddings, several meetups, and one poster is the godfather of my child

I'm not as big of a Metallica fan as I used to be. Not sure I'd want to go to the concert, but if anyone wants to meet up in town prior to it, I'm down.

Just looked up my May calendar and I'm in Toronto until late on the 12th.I'm not as big of a Metallica fan as I used to be. Not sure I'd want to go to the concert, but if anyone wants to meet up in town prior to it, I'm down.
Have a good gathering.

My first concert was Queen at the arena in 1980.We're going to the show in Cleveland. I am BEYOND excited for it. I saw them when they came around with Paul Rodgers. I know that most people didn't care for him, but I thought he did a decent job. I think Adam Lambert should be great. We are seeing this show in Philly. Looking forward to it.just bought tickets for Queen (with Adam Lambert filling in for Freddy Mercury) in Nashville this August. should be quite an elaborate show!
Was a bit worried a few months ago, as Brian May announced he was taking time off for "health reasons." But it looks like he's doing just fine.
Also - did anyone else see this? I was surprised at James Corden's pipes!

Garth seems to start every show with Let's Lay Down and Dance (?) and then immediately launches into a string of hits. He doesn't run as fast, but he's all over the stage. We had seats behind the stage but never felt left out.
About 2/3rds of the way through, Trisha rises up through the stage and they sing In Another's Eyes. At our show, she then sang a few songs without him, at other shows, they sang together. He "ends" the first set of 20 songs with Friends in Low Places. Then after a minute of darkness, the encore begins and he mostly plays a few bars of songs that people are requesting on signs they are holding up. He does these shortened versions of 8-10 songs and then finishes with 2 full songs.
The stage is in the round, very good large screens all around. The drummer is in a large lighted sphere as the main focal point.
At one point, a little boy to the left of the stage caught a drumstick. A song or two later, Garth was working the stage and saw the kid had a big brother, maybe 14-15 years old. He kinda razzed the older brother for not catching the drumstick and then said, "You're the older brother, you should get something bigger." He unstrapped his guitar and handed it to the kid who had an amazed look on his face.
We kinda had to get out because the next show was supposed to start at 7pm and it was already 6:30. Garth performed for about 2 hours and 45 minutes. We really didn't get shortchanged but I was disappointed he didn't play Shameless. It's our wedding song and he played it at the other three shows.
But all in all, an amazing show and setlist. Catch him if you get the chance. We tried to get tickets for the Sunday night show, but scalpers had the prices through the roof.
