Taking Mrs. F to see Natalie Merchant at the Byham in April for Christmas.

In 22 years living in Pittsburgh I had never been to a show in the theatre district, now from last November to next April I will have seen Steely Dan and Hamilton at the Benedum, Natalie Merchant at the Byham and a PSO concert my daughter is singing in with the regional youth choir at Heinz Hall.

Small Town Murder is playing the Agora Theater in Cleveland on my wife's birthday so we're going to go up there and take it in with some friends. Should be a hoot.

Every Tyler Childers concert near me is $300+ a ticket. That's still absurd to me.

Granted it has been ages since my last one, but I have never brought a cell phone to a concert before.
Not a fan of cell phones at shows, but then again, I have documented proof of Eddie money kissing my wife because of a cell phone, so what are you going to do?
was this the show?

My wife forwarded me the email for Beyonce's tour presale registration. Hopefully this goes better than T. Swift.

I do believe it was and he signed my vinyl records so take that McDowell

Edit: it was not, kiss happened at rib fest. Records got signed at that show though. "Eddie snake, rock n roll! Love Eddie money". What a guy. I distinctly remember him twirling the mic and it went flying as he missed the grab just about every time all night. It was awesome. His daughter came out on stage and sang too.

@Kicksave - sold me tickets to the Pirates directly behind the foul pool. He insists it wasn't a troll job, but I don't believe him.

That's interesting. Weird they would do two shows there and two in Philly. I don't have much interest in ever going back to star lake. That place sucks.

Just got Beyonce tickets. After not wanting to go to any concerts for the past 10 years or so, my wife is suddenly on a concert kick and wanting to go see people she's into. So this spring/summer is Lizzo, Taylor Swift, and now Beyonce. At least I was able to get much better seats for Beyonce than Taylor. I don't know if the demand is lower for Beyonce or Ticketmaster worked their **** out (probably the former) but that was a much better experience.

I'm going to see Leonid and Friends this summer at the American Music Theater. Which is basically the same thing.

Isbell playing 30 minutes from my house. Win! I haven't been to a proper rock show in years. I'm too cheap, and the good shows are 2+ hours away, usually in the middle of the week.

I was looking forward to seeing Steve Martin and Martin Short at the Benedum. Upper balcony is $95 before fees. I think I'll just watch their Netflix special instead.

I'd be interested to see if Martin would play a few songs with the Steep Canyon Rangers.

They’ll be there. I assume they’ll play a few together.

Saw them in KC in the before times; it was a great time. They both do a set on their own, they do a couple bits together, and the SCR are present and do a handful of numbers too.

I'm sure it's a great show. I just can't justify $95 + fees to sit in the upper balcony.
