I was saying we need to find a quote of Bradshaw trashing Cowher, since we now have the Tomlin-is-cheerleader and Noll-is-jerk on record.

I don't think he does. He picked the Steelers to beat the Pats.

Ahh gotya, misunderstood. I'm sure Bradshaw said something dumb about Cowher at some point over 16 years.

Supposedly mike white is reporting that the norf catholic coaching staff is refuting the report that tomlin came into the locker room and generally acted a fool. However, supposedly no one if refuting the reports about joey porter. Not shocked by the tomlin news, and not shocked about the porter news.

Mike "Blue and" White is without a doubt the best nickname PL has ever come up with

If anybody deserves the "he's past his prime, but organizational respect" contract, it's the swole patrol

James Harrison has been one of our most consistent players year in and year out. Rarely injured, always good for five or six sacks a season. Counting the Cincinnati season out in 2013, his sacks total the last four seasons is 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, 5.0. He also had more tackles this year (39) than he has had since his 2012 season. Throw in a pick too.

I understand the man will be 39, but his training regimen is legendary. He would continue to be a great mentor to the younger guys like Dupree. Giving him a reasonable contract isn't charity, it makes sense.

That two year contract is almost assuredly a one year deal with what amounts to a team option for a second year anyways

Assuming 3-4 more years of good enough to win a title Ben + young and cheap and maybe pretty dang good defense, I don't think they could have used this money in a better way. Take your shot.
