Still think it's advantage Bama in OT. They've been carving up the Dawgs with their running game in the 2nd half and Georgia hasn't shown much interest on the offensive side of the ball.

Hurts blows, but despite that, Bama 23; UGA 21.

"Close."

- Lee Corso
If the Bama kicker, Shankopolous?, didn't brick out in regulation, that score prediction was gonna be awfully close...though, I didn't imagine Bama not scoring for the first 35 minutes or whatever...

Nice job by the freshman QB to step up there, I can't imagine not playing all year and then putting on that performance against maybe the best team in the country in front of, apparently, several fewer million people than who would normally watch a championship game...

The time between the end of the regular season and the playoff is almost as long as the NHL offseason. It would be nice if they could fix that. Burying the game on a Monday night doesn't help.

And this is why Saban wins national titles -- his ability to make the necessary adjustments. Ends up being a brilliant move changing QBs and getting #22 some meaningful carries. Georgia coaches totally went in the tank after the long TD pass.
Saw the highlights. Were his adjustments having the refs blow an offsides that negated a blocked punt, miss an obvious face mask and miss an Alabama player punching Fromm in the head? Because well done nick Saban.

[My son] pulled his groin cheering for UGA in the final moments of the game.
He learned many lessons about how cruel life can be in a short period of time.
